Gntl Case Study

Problem: As a skincare brand entering a saturated market, Gntl needed to establish its unique positioning and effectively communicate what set it apart from traditional cleansers. With a small team, they lacked the bandwidth to execute a cohesive, high-quality social media strategy. Their original feed lacked consistency, had minimal video content, and focused more on professional product imagery with less visuals sharing the deeper inspirations and values behind the brand. In order to resonate with their audience and reflect the premium yet minimalist ethos of the brand, Gntl needed a refined content strategy that would elevate its visual identity, engage its community, and showcase the true versatility of Skin Wash.

Solution: Our approach for Gntl was a strategy that balanced in-house content creation, user-generated content, educational graphics, and curated feed design to elevate the brand’s social presence. This process began with an assessment of their existing content and brand positioning, followed by the development of a cohesive visual and messaging strategy that aligned with Gntl’s minimalist and sustainable values. We then implemented this strategy across their social platforms, focusing on high-quality visuals and informative storytelling to highlight the brand’s unique differentiation in the skincare space.

We developed a comprehensive social media strategy that blended high-quality in-house content, UGC, and informative graphics. Through bi-monthly content shoots, we created a library of visually cohesive videos and photos that aligned with Gntl’s brand look & identity. We also introduced more UGC to foster authenticity and social proof, helping potential customers see the real-world benefits of Skin Wash. By curating an intentional, aesthetically pleasing feed, we ensured that Gntl’s social presence matched the quality of their product. Thoughtful educational content was also incorporated to highlight the science behind Skin Wash and its sustainability efforts, creating a meaningful connection between the brand, its values, & the audience.
